This new 3-vol. set helps students understand the complex issue of global terrorism. Almanac explores the roots and evolution of contemporary terrorism and terrorist organizations Biographies includes approximately 25 biographical sketches of terrorists and counter-terrorists, both historical and contemporary and Primary Sources includes 15-20 documents regarding the aims and issues of terrorism. Also included are a chronology more than 180 black-and-white photos and maps and, in the Almanac, an appendix of more than 40 terrorist organizations.
